Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso has reportedly stated clearly that he is currently happy at Stamford Bridge, but would love to make a return to the Spanish La Liga.

The left-full back started his career at reigning Spanish and European champions Real Madrid before joining Chelsea in 2016 from Serie A club Fiorentina.

Last season, the 26-year-old Spaniard was impressive for Chelsea as he helped the Blues to win the Premier League title scoring six goals from his position as a left wing-back.

‘'I’m very happy at Chelsea but I would like to return to Spain one day to continue my football career.

‘'Before I retire I’d like to play in La Liga. I haven’t played much there, but I'm very happy in London. All I think about is the game against Crystal Palace,'' Alonso stated.

Earlier, LYONSWORD had reported of how Chelsea are planning to sign top African superstar when the January 2018 transfer window opens.
